SHIFT SUPERVISOR / CHARGE NURSE
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
As charge nurse you are delegated to the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Nursing
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, Current Licensure in State of CA, BLS / PALS Proficiency

The Charge Nurse/Supervisor uses an interdisciplinary approach with residents, their families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for the needs of patients. They perform specific shift responsibilities.
Must possess as minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program. Minimum one year of nursing experience, pediatrics preferred.
